Frequently Asked Questions

What should I expect on my first tattoo? Below are answers to the questions we hear most often. If you don't see what you're looking for, give your nearest studio a call or drop us a message.

Do I need an appointment?+

Walk-ins are always welcome! You can stop by any of our studios during business hours. For larger or custom pieces, we recommend booking ahead or consulting with an artist in person, so we can set aside the time you need.

Does it hurt?+

Everyone experiences pain differently, and it depends on placement and your personal tolerance. Most clients describe it as very manageable. Our artists work efficiently to keep you comfortable throughout your session.

How much is a sleeve?+

Sleeves vary widely based on size, detail, color, and the number of sessions required. Stop in or reach out for a free consultation and we'll give you an honest estimate.

How much should I tip?+

Tipping is always appreciated and never required. A common guideline is 15–20% of the cost of your tattoo, but anything you can offer to show appreciation for your artist's work is welcome.

Is my deposit refundable?+

Deposits are non-refundable. They hold your appointment time and are applied toward the final cost of your tattoo. If you need to reschedule, please give us at least 48 hours' notice so your deposit can carry over.

Can I get a tattoo or piercing if I am underage?+

Florida law: You must be 18 to get a tattoo. Minors (16–17) may be tattooed only with notarized parental/guardian consent and the parent/guardian present. For piercings, minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who provides written, notarized consent. A notary is available for a $10 fee. Please bring valid photo ID for both the minor and the parent/guardian. See our Forms page to download and complete the required consent forms in advance.

What is the aftercare process?+

Keep your new tattoo or piercing clean. Wash gently with unscented soap and warm water, pat dry, and follow your artist's specific instructions. Avoid submerging in pools, hot tubs, or the ocean while healing. Download our full aftercare guides on the Forms page.
